Tartarini Service Kit 2200093 – PS/79 Series Pilot Spare Parts Overview
Service kit 2200093 (Tartarini reference M2200093X12) is the recommended spare parts kit for the single-diaphragm pilots of the PS/79 family: PS/79, PSO/79, PSOR/79, RE/79 and REO/79. These pilots control Tartarini pilot-operated regulators of the FL, Cronos, EZH and 971 series. Within the family, the PS/79 serves as the main regulator or wide-open monitor pilot, the PSO/79 sets the first pressure-reducing step of a working monitor, and the REO/79 sets the downstream step; RE versions meet specific Italian market requirements. Because these pilots use a single diaphragm, any internal failure drives the regulator fail-open, which is why genuine soft parts matter for safety-critical stations.
The steel-body versions are rated for an allowable pressure of 100 bar with a set range of 0.5 to 40 bar — extendable to 60 bar in the -AP variants — while the aluminium PS/79-1 and PS/79-2 cover 0.01–0.5 bar and 0.5–3 bar at 20 bar allowable pressure. Connections are 1/4 in. NPT female; every pilot carries a 5 µm filter and, except for the PSO types, a built-in pressure stabilizer. Tightness-cover versions (suffix -D) are available for outdoor or harsh installations.
The kit supplies all rubber parts flagged in the factory parts list: the main control diaphragm, stabilizer diaphragm and pad holder, valve pad and pad holder, the jet GACO ring, the complete O-ring set and the filter felt. During reassembly, static O-rings should be lubricated only with Molykote 55 M, and the clearance between lever and forked stem reset to 0.2–0.3 mm before the diaphragm plate is torqued down.
Kits are ordered against the pilot type and its serial number, since spring ranges and AP versions change the internal trim. Recommended stock is one kit per installed pilot, renewed at each scheduled overhaul.
